It’s that time again – I’m feature my top ten crafts to make this week from last Tuesday’s linky party. I hope you find something fabulous that you’d like to make this week as well. I had to narrow it down from over 590 posts. Phew! These are just the 10 tutorials that I had time to highlight right now, you’ll see many more on this and the other Tip Junkie sister sites as well. 24. Watermelon Flavored Cake ~ This watermelon cake not only looks absolutely adorable, but tastes like watermelon too! Pureed watermelon and Jell-O powder gives the cake the scrumptious flavor. This cake has summer party, 4th of July and pool party written all over it!
39. Stacked Baseboards ~ These stacked baseboards are absolutely exquisite! It has the appearance of being one intricate piece of trim, but it’s actually 3 separate pieces. It was made with 1 1/4″ picture molding, 1″ framed rope molding, and a 5″ baseboard.
135. Shower Curtains to Curtains – These striped curtains are fabulous! They give the home office the perfect punch of color. Can you believe they are made from a shower curtain?! It was cut into thirds, two pieces for the main panels and the extra piece was for extra length needed.
175. Bead Organization Magnet Board ~ This bead organization magnet board is not only fabulous, but doubles as a piece of artwork! The main piece to this project is a magnetic board from Ikea. Cover it with your favorite fabric and add your clear round tins full of beads.
226. Coffee Sugar Scrub Recipe ~ Coffee lover’s beware! This amazing coffee sugar scrub is a wonderful way to pamper your skin. Package it beautifully and give it away as a gift.
283. Turn Children’s Art into Tea Towels ~ What an ingenious idea to turn your children’s artwork into tea towels! It’s such a fabulous way to display their artwork and in the place we seem to spend the most time. Simply trace your children’s artwork onto a flour sack kitchen towel using a fine tip Sharpie. That’s it!
329. My Gray and Yellow Office ~ The transformation of this gray and yellow office is phenomenal! The punch of yellow adds a sunny and lively feel to the room. The desk was painted white and a magnetic board was added for a backsplash. A library sitting area was also created for the kiddos while mom works.
420. No Makeup, Makeup ~ With the increasing summer temperatures outside this tutorial to appear as if you have no makeup on is perfect. Natalia will show you the essential products necessary to achieve the Im not wearing any makeup, but ssshhh because I really am, although it took me 5 minutes look.
515. Recycle a Skirt into a Pretty Apron ~ This fantastic tutorial to give new life to an old skirt is quick and easy! Start by unpicking the zipper on the back or simply cut it away. Add two lengths of pretty ribbon and tuck into the ends of the waistband. Voila! A fun and flirty apron.
544. BBQ Sundae Recipe ~ Doesn’t this entree in a jar look scrumptious?! It’s “the sundae layers pork, slaw, and baked beans, all covered in thick, sweet red sauce. Perfect for picnics or feeding a crowd.
