It’s that time again – I’m feature my top ten crafts to make this week from last Tuesday’s linky party. I hope you find something fabulous that you’d like to make this week as well. I had to narrow it down from over 775 posts. Phew! These are just the 10 tutorials that I had time to highlight right now, you’ll see many more on this and the other Tip Junkie sister sites as well. So a huge thank you for those who took the time to link up their fabulous tutorials!
34. USA Pennant Banner ~ God Bless the USA! Add this festive “USA” pennant banner to your list of patriotic crafts. The glittered chipboard letters on burlap is fantastic!
133. Awesome New Bench from Old Headboard ~ Check out this amazing transformation of a headboard and footboard! They were picked up at a Goodwill store for only $3.99. The headboard is the back of the chair and the footboard was cut in half for the sides, leaving only the seat and front legs to construct. The ‘sunshine’ yellow paint is perfection!
208. Alice in Wonderland Party ~ We’re all mad here for this amazing Wonderland party! Most of the decor and prop items were utilized from Meghily’s holiday storage. I love it when you can reuse items already on hand. Not only will you feast your eyes on decor, but also on fun activities including find the Cheshire Cat, making hats from newspaper, and the Mad Hatter Haberdashery.
247. Quilted Camera Case ~ Keep your little pocket camera protected with this adorable quilted cover. Fabric scraps are perfect for this project. You could also use this tutorial for sunglasses, ipods, Nintendo DS’s, and Kindles.
310. Oreo Popsicles ~ Yummy! These oreo popsicles not only look refreshing, but absolutely delicious. It’s a perfect creamy treat for everyone, because who doesn’t love O-R-E-O-S? You can use shot glasses, cups or even popsicle molds to freeze them in.
349. Crib Mattress Bulletin Board Clips ~ Who would have thought to turn a crib mattress into a bulletin board? Lollyjane did! She dressed it up with adorable podgeable clips! Acrylic Shapes were used with scrapbook paper and modpodge. Add some pretty lace, ribbon or twine to the shapes and you have the perfect companions to your bulletin board.
433. Lemon Sugar Scrub ~ If you haven’t had the chance to try sugar scrubs yet, it’s a definite must. They are the perfect exfoliators for your face, hands and feet. The hot water actually melts the sugar crystals and leaves your skin feeling so smooth and soft! Only three ingredients were used to make this refreshing scent, olive oil, sugar and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
556. Application to Date My Daughter {free printable} ~ This “Application to Date My Daughter” is hilarious! I’m sure you can all relate to this when your father interrogated your dates. Just print this application and have the poor fellow fill it out! In the meantime your husband can clean his gun.
626. DIY Kids Seesaw ~ This red Seesaw is an absolutely adorable and a fantastic outdoor activity for these warm months! The full supply list and tutorial is provided to make one in approximately 2 hours. It was adult tested so you can have fun too!
