So… My family and I are heading out to Universal Studios Orlando Resort and since we’ve never been I really need your help in planning the trip. I know this is a little different than what you’re used to here on Tip Junkie – but I SCORED an insanely cool giveaway from Universal Orlando Resort that I’ll be givingaway next week! {squeal}
Um yes, IÂ’m totally bribing you to help me plan my trip. I really need your advice because we havenÂ’t been to a major theme park like this before and since thereÂ’s so much to do and see IÂ’m completely overwhelmed. Plus thanks to Universal Orlando Resort – two lucky winners are going to win a FABULOUS prize next week – so I promise itÂ’s worth helping a girl out. {knuckle bumps}
P.S. After you “submit” your info – the page will look gray. Just scroll up and you’ll be able to see the link to view the results if you’d like.
Thank you SO SO much!! Thanks to your help my boys are going to think IÂ’m the coolest mom, Evah! Stay tunedÂ… next week there 2 winners thanks to Universal Orlando Resort! {high fives}
P.S. If you want a tutorial on how to make a Universal Studios count down calendar, it’s over on the Tip Junkie Printables Site.
We just got back 2 weeks ago!! My twins are under 54 inches so they couldn’t go on all the rides. My hubby and I went on a few coasters as single riders and got on much faster. I suggest purchasing the meal deal for $19.99 if you stay all day. You get free refills on drinks all day and you can stop at any meal deal location and get a meal- so worth it!
We went on a Wednesday and never had to wait longer than 30 minutes to get on any rides. Harry Potter was AMAZING!! And made us all a fan! They were charging $30 for wands so if your kids have vacation money, make sure they save it 🙂
The movie theater at City Walk is really nice too. When it gets closer to dinner time there are performers that come out into the street. Its really cool!
Make sure you bring bug spray too if you are going to be out there at night.
Hmm… I think thats all the tips I have. Have a super good time!!
Hello, I was excited to see someone else is planning a trip, we’re planning on going Memorial Day weekend. It’s been 6 years since we’ve been last. Of course my 4 kids are a little older now, but still anxious to return. The prices definitely has increased, but the memories are forever. Don’t forget to pack the ponchos for the wet rides, and with family of six, it was worth getting 2 additional express tickets, so 2 of us go ride at a time for the rides that had over an hour wait. We’ll probably do the same this trip. Have a blast…
I had the opportunity to take my daughter(13) to universal orlando and she loved it- we had a blast! It’s been a coup,e of months and she is still talking about it!
You will have time to hit everything pretty much when you are there – so Enjoy!!! We usually do passes there and this year did Disney and my kids wish I would have done Universal again, me to on the pocket book… Have fun!
Leave some down time and don’t even try to do it all. So glad you are planning ahead!! We can’t wait to gp back! Make and take autograph books. and agree before you get in the park that shopping will be done at a certain time (near the end of the day) and a strict budget! Mine about bankrupt me and I ended up carrying six tons of her treasures all day (sad face). Have a super fun trip!!!
