A huge welcome to everyone who is visiting from the The Creative Connection Event. I am one of the official Social Media Correspondents and will be giving you all the details of the beautiful conference next week.
My name is Laurie Turk and I’m a mom of three boys and a techy husband living in Dallas, Texas. I love to create photobooks, celebrate holidays, and GNO with friends. My goal is to create Moments that Matter for my kids, my man, my friends, and myself. I recently wrote a free eBook on the subject. {{wink}}
I love to stay connected with readers and have made it really easy to find me on Twitter, Facebook, the BlogFrog, and YouTube. {{to name a few}} I love to try out new social media networks, so if you search for TipJunkie, you’ll most likely find me and I’d love to be your online friend. I even have a personal blog that I try to update at least once a week.
As Tip Junkie has grown, I have felt a huge responsibility to unite creative and like-minded women. In my real life there aren’t many women who share my passions, however online I’m surrounded by kindred spirits!
There is so much that I’m excited to share at EVO. If you can’t attend you’re in luck because I have already written three posts on the subject. If you want to learn more here you go:
- Part 1 – Connecting Your Community of Readers
- Part 2 – Creating Your Own Community
- Part 3 – Tools & Resources
I have a passion for promoting creative women through their products and ideas. Due to my intense desire to help women, I have designed several blogs and websites to help you with your online needs:
- Tip Junkie – Creative tutorials on home decor, holidays, crafts, for the kids and more.
- TJ Blog Events & Giveaway Directory – Free stuff and more traffic to blogs.
- TJ Mom-preneur Shops – Promoting women in business.
- TJ Community – Uniting creative women.
- Executive Homemaker – Over 300 free printables for busy moms.
- Chic Chick Media – Affordable text advertising for blogs and small shops.
If you’re attending the conference, be sure to come and say “Hey!” I have made some shrinky dink beaded bookmarks as my business cards and I’d love to give you one. I’m easy to talk to, friendly, a girly-girl and would love to get to know you better. I’m the one with the huge headband in her hair! But beware, I’m a hugger. {{wink}}
