When is Independence Day?
Independence Day is more popularly known as the 4th of July, the day in which the United States celebrates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
Independence Day is a Federal Holiday and is celebrated on July 4th each year. If the 4th of July falls on a weekend the federal government observes the holiday on the Friday before (if it falls on a Saturday) or the Monday after (if it falls on a Sunday), but celebrations still traditionally occur on the 4th.
