Congratulations to our two lucky winners! #358, Bobbiann; and #778, Tonya Dew!
I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.
I thought long and hard about my word of the year and it came as a result of the year I had in 2011. I made you a little video message as to why I picked this word!
for·ti·tude ~ Mental and emotional strength in facing difficulty, adversity, danger, or temptation courageously.

My word is dwell. This year is going to be crazy for me. I am a military wife with 2 kids (2 and 3) and pregnant (due in May). We are moving twice this year. I know it is going to be a crazy year. I know that I will not be able to make it without the Lord soooo I am going to dwell in His presence to keep my peace and joy.
