Congratulations to our two lucky winners! #358, Bobbiann; and #778, Tonya Dew!
I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.
I thought long and hard about my word of the year and it came as a result of the year I had in 2011. I made you a little video message as to why I picked this word!
for·ti·tude ~ Mental and emotional strength in facing difficulty, adversity, danger, or temptation courageously.

My word of the year for 2012 is blessed! God has blessed me and my son so much in 2011 that I know He has GREAT things in store for 2012! I had my son in June 2011, sadly his biological father hasn’t seen him much. BUT the great thing is, God has sent us a wonderful man who has taken on the role of daddy and he is so amazing to us both! He treats my baby boy just as he does his own daughter! God has done such amazing things for us and I CAN NOT wait to see what is in store for us this year! I truly believe there will be blessings galore! God is so good!
Have a blessed day 🙂
