Congratulations to our two lucky winners! #358, Bobbiann; and #778, Tonya Dew!
I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.
I thought long and hard about my word of the year and it came as a result of the year I had in 2011. I made you a little video message as to why I picked this word!
for·ti·tude ~ Mental and emotional strength in facing difficulty, adversity, danger, or temptation courageously.

Happy
My word for 2012 is GRACE. Grace for myself, grace for others…. GRACE.
I cheated a bit this year and had to use two words: look up.
Courage … that’s my word. This last year had had its many trials and 2012 holds many like it. I ask God daily for the courage to get through everything safely with my twins and husband. Despite how scary 2012 looks I’m excited to see where it takes us.
I also like tip junkie already.
Persevere
To persist in or remain constant to a purpose, task or idea in the face of obstacles or discouragement.
I am a fan of both Tip Junkie and Lisa Leonard Designs on FaceBook!
Thank you for the generous contest…. I am crossing my fingers that I win! With a constant reminder of my goal around my neck, I am sure to PERSEVERE!
