Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1:
 Spray paint a wire hanger black.  Let dry.
Step 2: Â Print and cut out a bat template. {I used #7 from this post: Â 18 Crafty Halloween Bat Templates}.
Step 3: Â
Trace onto a piece of black card stock. Â The template I used uses a folded piece of card stock so you only have to cut one side and you open it up and the whole bat is revealed.
Step 4: Â
Using the ek tools Thin Edger Punch, punch the edge of the wings to give the wings fun dimension.
Step 5: Â
Punch a hole at the top of the bat. Â You’ll need this to thread the fishing wire through to hang the bat on the wire hanger.
Step 6: Â
Line the edge of the bat wing with a glue stick and then sprinkle with craft glitter. Â {I used ek tool Glue and Glitter}
Step 6: Â
Using the ek tool Medium Scalloped Circle Punch, punch a bunch of orange, yellow and white circles.
Step 7: Â
Glue strips of scalloped circles onto fishing wire using glue stick. Â For example, you’ll put two white scalloped circles glued with fishing wire in between back to back. Â And so on.
Step 8:  Assemble the bats and lengths of scallops circles on wire hanger and embellish with ribbon.
Step 9: Â Enjoy in your home!
Kid Friendly Craft!
The great thing about this craft is that it’s absolutely kid friendly. Â They can help with everything, except probably the hanging with the fishing line. Â That part is a little tricky because fishing wire can be a bit hard to work with. Â It takes a bit more dexterity than most little kids have, unfortunately. Â However, the cutting, glueing, punching and glittering are all things that kids can help with and will love to be involved with!
