I’ve found a tool for finding the perfect paint color for any room in Three Easy Steps!  Glidden has a genius online tool that quickly shows you how to choose paint using any image that inspires you! Find paint color palette ideas and combinations that YOU love in 3 easy steps.
How to Choose Paint
If you are looking for ways to kick-start your room redo, My Image Inspiration is a tool that allows you to upload a picture of something you like and think would work for your space—whether it’s a piece of art, furniture, fabric—anything really and then get color palettes based on your inspiration!  The selection of color palettes that are generated for you to browse through,  print, share and paint are fabulous!
I’ll walk you through the steps…
Step 1. Go to My Colortopia.com
to go to GliddenÂ’s My Image Inspiration tool and click “upload a photo of your inspiration.
Step 2. Upload Any Image You Love!
Yep, I’m serious, upload any image! It can be a photograph, a couch, fabric, wall hanging, accessory, food, ANYTHING! To prove it, I chose a picture from a party! {evil laugh} The photograph is by Angie Silvy Photography of the most gorgeous modern garden party.  See?
Step 3. Crop Your Image
Next, drag the crop box over the image which has the colors that you are most interested in and click “show colors”. Voila! You will have a paint color wheel show on on the right.
Now play! Click any of the color boxes to display different color pallets and color combinations of paint that coordinate with your inspired image.
I’ll warn you, this is crazy fun. I uploaded like 6 images trying to see what different paint combos it would come up with. {snicker} Most of these colors I would have never considered on my own. Thanks to this free tool from Glidden paint, I can already imagine how lovely they would look on my walls.
