15 Pretty Displays For Christmas Pictures & Cards

Wondering how to display Christmas cards or your Christmas pictures this year?  Well I have you officially hooked with with these 15 pretty Christmas card holder tutorials. They’ll be just the accessory you need to show off your gorgeous Merry Christmas Pictures!

When I asked Tip Junkie Facebook fans what they wanted me to post about during our Christmas in July celebration, one request was pretty ways to display Christmas cards.  So here you go and I hope you like what I have found. {giddy}

Christmas Pictures

1.  Christmas Card Clothespin Wreath – I just love this card wreath made out of mod podged clothes pins. You can find the tutorial from Kojodesigns Tea Wreath Tutorial.  Here’s a traditional green red version.

2.   Corkboard turned Card Holder – Repurpose an ordinary cork-board and make a simple tree with ribbon, fabric, and nail head trim.

3.  Tree Card – Show off your season’s greetings in an elegant and ingenious way by arranging your cards on a wall in the shape of a Christmas tree.

4.  Vases with Forks – Instead of relegating incoming Christmas cards to a basket, put the pretty seasonal ephemera on display. Cut green florist’s foam to fit inside clear vases, and tie a ribbon around the vase. Poke forks into the foam and secure cards between the tines.

5 & 6.  If you are short on wall space to display your Christmas pictures, try hanging them around a doorway to create a fun frame of cards.  Or simply tape ribbon to the inside of your kitchen cabinets and attach them to the ribbon to get them off your counter.

7.  Vintage Empty Frame – Displaying Christmas cards  inside a gorgeous empty frame by tacking wire and ribbon along the back to make rows..the middle “row” is the original hanger.

8.  I realize this is a summer theme but how darling is this Summer Clothesline Picture Frame and how fun would it be for the holidays.  Especially if you don’t receive a ton of cards.  You can then repurpose this every season by adding with a different banner.  {snicker}

9.  Shutters for Displaying Christmas Cards – Here’s a pictured tutorial on how to repurpose old window shutters to create a darling Christmas picture holder.

10.  Simple Canvas and ribbon Christmas card holder – All you need is a 12×36 inch canvas, a few spools of colorful ribbon, and these red thumbtacks.

11. Decorated Tomato Cage – Tis no longer the season for growing veggies, so go ahead and transform a tomato cage from your garden into this clever evergreen look-alike.

12.  Wondering what to do with your old Holiday Cards from the past?   Create a Photo Garland for your stair way Bainister – Every year’s photo is on one side of this little plaque, and the other side has the year in order (1-17)  and the date (1993-2009).

13.  Quick & Easy Christmas Card Album – Grab your cards and photos, a hole punch, a couple of jumbo binder rings, a piece of holiday paper and stickers for the cover, and some ribbon.
