USE IT TO REMOVE YOUR MAKEUP
Coconut oil is one of our favorite makeup removers because it really does the job and has the added bonus of leaving your skin feeling moisturized. To remove your makeup, apply coconut oil to your face with a cotton round. Then, wash face with warm water and a mild cleanser. You may not know this, but coconut oil has natural antibacterial properties that can protect the skin from bacterial infections (think acne). Using coconut oil to clean your skin could actually help acne, and certainly not make it worse if that is a fear.
Coconut oil makes an incredibly effective eye makeup remover, but you have to be careful not to use too much or your eyes might feel too oily. Apply coconut oil to your eyes by gently wiping with a cotton round to remove eye makeup. We usually use a warm washcloth to wipe our eyes after removing our makeup just to get rid of any lingering coconut oil on our lashes.
USE IT TO MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN
Coconut oil is an amazing moisturizer! Apply it to your skin directly after the shower to help prevent moisture loss through evaporation! Put a small amount in your hand and then rub into your skin like you would lotion. When you first put the coconut oil in your hand it’ll most likely be solid, but will turn liquid once it hits your warm skin.
USE IT TO HEAL THOSE CHAPPED LIPS

Just apply a dab (or drop) to your lips with your fingertip and then gently rub in. You can make a lip exfoliator with coconut oil, honey and sugar that is out of this world! It moisturizes your lips, exfoliates them and helps heal them! Just add a 1:1:2 ratio of honey and coconut oil to brown sugar and then mix it all together.

Coconut oil does have antibacterial properties, so it makes a great deodorant base. Since the point of deodorant is destroy odor-causing bacteria in your armpits, coconut oil makes a great alternative to regular deodorants, especially if you are trying for a more natural solution. Most people who use coconut oil as a deodorant mix the coconut oil with baking soda, their favorite essential oil and cornstarch.
