1. Sell Your Old Camera Gear
Got camera gear lying around? You can sell cameras and other camera equipment for cash. It only takes four simple steps! Just search, get a quote, ship, and get cash for the holidays! It’s that easy.
2. Sell Your Handmade Items
The Tip Junkie Mom Shop is a great place to sell your handmade items to earn extra cash for Christmas. Just list your items and watch them sell. You can also start an Etsy shop to sell you fabulous items.
3. Sell Your Services
~ Do you have a particular talent but don’t know how to “sell” or “market” it? Then I’ve totally got your back! List your service right here on Tip Junkie and support other women in business by hiring Work-at-Home Mom Services! If you’re looking to hire or sell services like a photographer, seamstress, hairdresser, etc., then list your service or browse through what is listed to earn some extra cash or support other women trying to do the same!
4. Sell Your Kids Old Clothes
There are many places you can sell your kid’s old clothes, including having a yard sale, but if your goal is to clean out their closet and get a check or their clothes without having to list items one by one and wait for them to sell, you might consider ThredUp.
5. Get Paid to Grocery Shop
I personally detest grocery shopping, but if you love it, then I found this article that has 8 ways to get paid to grocery shop. Pretty cool.
6. mTurk for Amazon
You can do odd jobs for Amazon and get paid for them! Open a mTurk account and then view and apply for tasks that look appealing to you. You can work from home and pick your work hours!
7. Trade Stuff in at Amazon
Did you know that you could trade in your stuff at Amazon and get an Amazon gift card in exchange? I didn’t either until this year! They take books, cellphones, tablets, laptops, video games, and consoles!
8. Sell Your Stuff Locally
Selling stuff locally through online sites such as the Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist can be really easy, but caution should always be used. I’ve also found that some areas also seem to be better for these platforms for selling than others. I’d always recommend meeting buyers at a location other than your house, but that’s just me.
9. Get Cash Back for Shopping
Ebates, or now know as Rakuten, is my favorite site for getting cashback on items you’d normally buy. Ebates is a shopping portal offering coupons and cashback from over 2,000 online retailers, so chances are VERY high that the stores and items you are shopping for have a rebate or coupon that will save you money or give you cashback.
10. Sell Your Stuff eBay
Selling your stuff on eBay is easier than you think. You can easily upload a listing from your phone in a few minutes so if you’ve been intimidated in the past, don’t be. You do need a PayPal account to collect funds and remember that eBay collects a small fee when you sell an item. Plus, you are responsible for shipping in a timely manner!
