Easy End of Summer Crafts

As summertime draws to a close, we all look forward to new projects and adventures. Check out these last hurrah activities that preschoolers and bigger kids will love.

1.  Endless Summer {Summer Party Themes} ~ What better way to celebrate the end of summer than with a pool party?!  The watermelon theme was carried throughout the party from decorations to food.  Some of the amazing food ideas included apple & watermelon sailboats, watermelon bites topped with fluff cream cheese and mint, and refreshing melon skewers.

2.  Summer Time Capsule ~  Time capsules are so much fun and I love the idea of a summer time capsule.  It’s so easy to forget what one did during the summer and this printable booklet is perfect to preserve your summertime memories.

3.  How to Create Memories in a Jar {mason jar} ~ Create mementos of your summer vacation using photos, accessories, and a jar.

4.  Driveway Photography ~ Who would have thought that sidewalk chalk could be so much fun?!  It’s definitely a creative outlet and fun activity for the family.  This is a definite must for your summer bucket list.

6.  Backyard Drive-In Movie {Summer Party Themes} ~ What child wouldn’t have a blast with this backyard drive-in movie party?!  It’s perfect for a fun summer night of entertainment!  You can make the cars using a cardboard box and paper plates for the wheels.

7.  Sand Box {inspired by Pottery Barn Kids} ~ Not wanting to pay Pottery Barn Kid prices for a sandbox, Erin created her own! I think it looks cuter than PBK’s.

8.  Sand Dollar Cookie {Craft Ideas} ~ These beautiful sand dollars are cookies made from tapioca flour and coconut milk.  A fun addition to your beach themed party or a unique edible craft to make with the kids this summer.

13.  Toasted S’more Stuffed Strawberries ~ Strawberries stuffed with s’more ingredients, then wrapped in marshmallow cream and toasted sound yummy to me. Combining two very popular summer foods, strawberries and s’mores, this also has a gluten free option.
