Mom Blog to Money Blog Review ~ Day 12
I can not tell you how many times a day I get asked questions on how to make money with a blog. It breaks my heart that I can’t clone myself to give everyone a one-on-one consultation or respond to every email or notification I receive. Therefore, I sat down for 4 weeks and wrote everything I know about blogging in this course, Mom Blog to Money Blog.
It’s an online workshop with a one-time membership fee, which is a one year membership, no strings attached, and no hidden fees. It’s straight from my heart spilling all my secrets, with 16 printable checklists, and 21 how-to video’s. My hope was to make you feel like I was right there next to you and walking you through the process. {hugs}
So, are you ready to get paid for your talent and writing writing and bring home the bacon? Ill show you how. {{click the links for more info.}}
DAY 12: GET PAID FOR EVERY PAGE VIEW!
Day Twelve’s focus in the Mom Blog to Money Blog is how to get paid for every page view. We’ll learn how to manage our ad networks in one place, automatically. And, since setting up Google DFP {which is the management account I teach you to use} can be intimidating, Ive broken up the how-to videos into three parts, so that you can totally do this! {{wink}}
So, in Day 12, we set up our blog to get paid for every page view, automatically!

“I learned the best way to get paid for every page view!”
I learned the best way to get paid for every page view. So, by adding in all of my ad networks to Google DFP, it allows me to have one ad code on my blog where I can run many different ads at the same time, getting the most money for my ads and freeing up side bar real estate.
Can someone without a technical background effectively set up their ad acccout?
Question for Laurie: Setting up a Google DFP account seems super overwhelming to me. Are you sure that someone without a technical background {like me} can do this??? Also, what ad networks do you recommend that don’t require exclusivity?
Answer by Laurie: In my opinion, the best way to navigate ad networks is by asking blogging friends what ad networks they like, would never work with, and to provide instroductions. Why? Because the fact is, an online reputation is only perception, not reality. So, ask around and find out the amount of pay-outs ad networks have. It’s my experience that one of the most exclusive ad networks which most bloggers would die to be accepted into ~ has one of the lowest monthly payouts for page views. {pinky swear} Sadly, as you mentioned setting up Google DFP is very complicated and intimidating. Lucky for you, my man and I created a screen-sharing video in Mom Blog Money Blog and walked you through the process step-by-step. {whoohoo!} I promise it is worth the time you invest into understanding the process. The money for ad networks is drying up which means it’s more important than ever to create systems which will automatically create passive income for you! Having several ad networks automatically rotating in your Google DFP is a cruicial pipleine of income for a blog. Right now, I exclusively use Google Adsense. I dabble around with other ad networks but none of them as been as reliable and profitable as Google Adsense.
