Hey Laurie, Thanks for listing my Recipe Roundup!
I also love Raspberry Lemonade’s Ethnic Christmas idea. My friend Marcy and I get our families together to have a Christmas party based on a theme. Neither of us are Jewish, so one year we assigned all the kids to learn about Hannukah, both the history, and celebration/food traditions, then we celebrated Hannukah. (That was probably our favorite. The food and story are amazing.) Other years we did England’s and Sweden’s Christmases… this year there’s talk of learning about Kwaanza. The kids love it and we all learn a lot about other cultures. The kids also appreciate and cherish everyone’s differences afterward, too.

Under Giveaways, #8 is missing the “h” in “http://” so the link isn’t working. It should be http://women-prenuergalore.blogspot.com/2008/11/interview-with-laura-lesan-from-elle.html

Ethnic Christmas Party: one year we decorated a christmas tree with interantional flags and ornaments red and gold.
In another room we did another tree americana- red white and blue.
Food:
Puerto Rico – a roasted pig
decorated with white table cover and accented with deco from Puerto Rico.
Mexico- flautas, tamales, chips & salsa. We put mexican curios on the table. Like a sombrero.
American- ham with rolls, meatballs, roast beef with rolls.
French – chocolate fountain, crepes station
You can find alot of these type of appetizers at Sam's Club
At each station the attendant wore an apron with the flag or the colors of the country.
