My husband is always complaining about the smell of our daughters’ diapers so the mask would be perfect for him! Thanks!

I love the Turkey Baster!
It is a good idea as Dad’s tend to feel left out in the whole baby process and this is a great way to include them.
The best “tool” is the most functional and the one that is very useful for most babies the pacifier a/k/a the “binkie”.
The most humorous, if it is going to be a boy, would be the emergency formula cup that doubles as a wee-wee container (my ex could have used that during one of the few diaper changes he made – I was always warned to put a diaper over the top even while changing it by other Moms).
Something else not included that would be amusing yet useful would be along the lines of No-Doz tablets as you need that with a newborn as they feed every two hours (something I wasn’t warned about in my Lamaze or parents to be class).
The ear plugs in the kit might be funny at the time given, but not funny in the least if the Dad actually uses them.
Another thing that is not included, yet might be funny yet useful, is actual baby care basics and what to expect the first few months with funny quips.
Also, how about a “Give Mom the Night Off” card that he can give to Mom that she can use and he agrees to take over baby duty? It would have been nice to have that one – the one and only time my ex got up when our son was a baby was to tell me that the baby was crying.
The tongs are great!
I like the Turkey Baster. What a way to clean!
