I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}

My word would be “deliberate” because I want to be more deliberate in everything I do, from the way I spend my time to the words I speak out loud to the food I eat!

My word is “Courage”
Hello! I love your tips. My word of the year is “trust.” To me it means to relax and trust God and trust that everything will work out well. I am pregnant and our baby is due the day after our one year wedding anniversary. She was a terrific surprise for my husband and I. We are so very excited, but realize that we are so not ready for the task ahead. We hope to trust that we will be made into good parents and the our sanity will be kept in the midst of chaos.
