I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}

My word this year is “Intentional.” Being intentional about everything from my priorities to money to relationships to how I spend my precious time is important and definitely an area for improvement for me. Life should be more purposeful.
