I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}

my word is patience!
My word of the year is………….snazzy.
I’m keeping it light this year, baby!
I think my word of the year is RELEASE. I need to release myself from stress. I need to release myself from extended family problems and let God handle them. I need to release myself from worrying about my weight and financial all the time. I need to release my stress and worries over to God and try to quit handling them myself. RELEASE
My Word of the Year is conquer. It is my goal this year to conquer not only the day to day life of being a wife, and mother to four amazing children, but hurdles I have been faced with for years. Our six year old son conquered cancer in 2010. God provided strength for our family to conquer that and I know He will provide the strength to conquer anything we are faced with in 2011. So often we have “big” goals and resolutions for the new year. However this year I want to conquer the moment and live it to the fullest!
My words is Joy! Joy is not in things; it is in us~ Richard Wagner
