I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}

I want to do and enjoy the things that make me smile.
My Word is the same as the one on the pictures, Grace. I gave birth to my sweet little Grace 10 weeks ago so I guess it’s appropriate to say, that my word of the year is Grace! 🙂
My word of the year was tough to pick. So many came to mind — accomplish, tolerance, patience, persistence, faith — but I think my word this year will be CHECK! As in, dinner? check! laundry? check! vacuuming? check!
