I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}
Word of the Year
IÂ’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2011? To encourage {or bribe} everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away a custom necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs, a $52 value.

Mercy…my 3 month old spend the first 11 days of his life in the NICU. I have never felt such compassion in a time of stress and heartache and my wish for 2011 is to show the same love and support to those in need of it.
My word of the year would be faith. I’ve learned to have more faith in God and that is just priceless!!
CREATE
My word of the year is guided. I have REALLY big dreams for this year. I feel pushed and driven and guided. I know that no matter what happens this is the journey I am supposed to be on.
WORSHIP……is my word this year, I want to remember each day that worshiping God is what I am created for.
