I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}
Word of the Year
IÂ’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2011? To encourage {or bribe} everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away a custom necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs, a $52 value.

My word for 2011 is balance. I constantly feel like I am performing a juggling act between family, work, and that all important “me” time. This year I hope to find balance in all of these areas where I never feel like one or the other is taking over or falling short.
patience!
grace…I want to recognize the grace of God to the fullest
My word is BALANCE. If that can be achieved, so many other words I considered would be achieved as well!
My word would have to be Imagine. I went back to college and will graduate this May – and I’m starting to imagine all the new possibilities that will (hopefully) be coming my way.
