2. Cupcake Liners Make Great Bug Shields for Glasses ~ Place cupcake liners upside down on the top of glasses to keep bugs away. Super brilliant.
3. Mason Jars for Centerpieces ~ You can also use Mason jars for easy and inexpensive centerpieces. Just stick flowers in the jar and place on the table.
4. Assemble Individual Serving Baskets BEFORE the Event ~ Put together baskets with everything your guests will need to eat their meal before the party begins. Plastic baskets like these make excellent trays for hot dogs and hamburgers! Add plastic utensils, a napkin, cup and straw and your guests will be set!
5. Leave Your Print on Your Burger ~ Literally! Before you BBQ the burgers, make an indention in the meat with your thumb in the center of the burger. This will stop it from bulging in the middle!
6. Repel Mosquitoes with Dryer Sheets – If you are having an outdoor party, keep an open box of Bounce dryer sheets near the door. Your guests can grab a sheet as they head outside and rub the sheet over their exposed skin to help repel mosquitos. It’s a great way to help keep your guests covered without worrying about keeping track of a bottle of bug repellent.
7. Use a Cookie Cutter to Cut Watermelon – Watermelon just tastes better when it’s shaped like a star on the 4th of July! (smiling) Cut watermelon into thin slices and then cut with a star cookie cutter. It’s so easy!
8. Put Together S’Mores Kits – Everyone loves s’mores, but sharing the ingredients with a crowd can be a pain. Before the big party, put together s’mores kits inside something like a strawberry carton with everything you’d need to make a s’more. You can even make them fancy by adding fruit or other items to jazz the s’mores up. FUN!

10. Turn Off Your Flash When Taking Fireworks Photos ~ If you are wondering why your fireworks photos never turn out, it’s probably because you’ve been using your flash. Turn off your flash and use a camera tripod to take your photos, if possible. You’ll be much happier with the quality of your photos.
