Do any of you Twitter? I know this is completely random and should be put on my personal blog, but it’s 12:43 am and I can’t sleep.
Why?
Because I can’t figure Twitter out. I just don’t get it. Please Help! And if you do get it – please be my friend so I can learn by example. 😉 Maybe that’s my problem, I don’t have anyone to talk to.

Ok, I got a Twitter pro to give us all the scoop on how to Twitter and how to market your products/blog/site using it. Check out my previous posts:

Ok lots of questions first do you have to have a blog to do a twitter blog? And, second do you have to use facebook?

I’m hooked, it’s fun. I’ve added you. I’ve never figured out how to add it to my blog though either..sigh.
You might also notice that you get quite a few people following you who aren’t actually people..they’re links to ads or MLMs or maybe even offensive sites. If this happens, you can just block them and they will no longer be in your “followers” list. This only matters in that people can click on the links of those who are following you and go to that person’s twitter page. I didn’t want my page to have links to that stuff.
You have controls that could prevent this…such as only allowing people you approve to follow you etc.
It’s a great little app for busy people. I’ve been trying to convince my DH that even though he’s too busy to keep his blog up these days, he should do a twitter blog…just 140 character tidbits about his experiences in the hospital (he’s in medical school). You can have your twitter updates automatically change your Facebook status, or you can have it separate. I’ve got a twitter box in my profile on Facebook, and it doesn’t change my status on facebook…so it’s kind of like two status updates. I say different things on them.
Oh, if you click on someones twittering, you can go back and read all their past ones. I’ve noticed some people use it like stream of consciousness posts…so any single one mightn’t make a ton of sense, but read together they do.
There aren’t really any rules, but I have been enjoying my twitterings. I’m even toying with signing up for the unlimited Text plan with my cell so that I can update from the road. Cause often that’s when I have more time. It’s on the sidebar of my blog and I named it Blue’s Musings.

You could put it at the top of your blog so it's not buried in ads. I'd read yours! 🙂
?
Nope, you pick who you follow. You do not have to follow everyone who follows you.
There is a Blogger widget to add it to your blog. Not sure how that would work considering your blog design.
Another Question:
So if you pick me to “follow” do I then have to pick you to follow as well? Or are we automatically connected once one of us chooses each other?
