In honor of International Joke Day, here’s a few clean jokes you can teach your young kids or grand kids. You can even print them out and text them a picture. {wink} I text my boys jokes all the time as I feel we all need the lift of a good giggle.
When my oldest son has always loved to make people laugh. The only problem was when he was really young the way he was getting attention – was with potty talk. {d’oh} So I made him this little joke book to help him learn some simple jokes.

Joke Book (1270 downloads )
I added images because he’s a visual learner and could memorize them quickly if he had a visual queue to remember it by. The small joke book prints as a small little book that fit into his pocket so he could reference it whenever he wanted. However, the images did the trick and he didn’t need to take it with him after a day of us playing around with them at home.
How to Make:
1. Print out on cardstock.
2. Staple or hole punch the top left corner.
If you hole punch it then use a small binder ring to hold it all together.
Jokes in this book:
1. Knock knock. Who’s There? D-1. D-1 Who? D-1 who knocked.
2. Knock knock. Who’s There? Dishes. Dishes Who? Dishes your friend, open the door.
3. Knock knock. Who’s There? Jimmy. Jimmy Who? Jimmy a little kiss.
4. Knock knock. Who’s There? Lettus. Lettus Who? Lettus come in, it’s cold outside.
5. Knock knock. Who’s There? You. You Who? Yes. You Called?

6. Knock knock. Who’s There? Doughnut. Doughnut Who? I Doughnut know.
7. Knock knock. Who’s There? Boo. Boo Who? Ahh. Don’t cry.
8. Knock knock. Who’s There? Banana. Banana Who?

My go-to joke since I was a little girl was the lettuce joke that I added to the joke book. {bwaahaa}
