Keeping Christ in Christmas

Are you new to Tip Junkie? If so, check out our Frequently Asked Questions.

For Talk To Me Tuesday this week, I thought I’d ask you the question, “How do you keep the Christ in Christmas?”

This time of year it’s so easy to get caught up in the material aspects of gift giving. For me, it’s a constant conscious effort to bring traditions, books, movies, and stories into my home that focus on the true meaning of Christmas. I’m sure we could all use some new ideas.

How to Play: Compose a post that talks about you keep the Christ in Christmas?” Be sure to link back to Tip Junkie. Next, add your direct post (not home page) to Mister Linky at the bottom of this post.

Entries will only be allowed until Saturday at 11 am Texas time to avoid spammers. Also, only link to your Talk To Me Tuesday post not your home page, those will be deleted.

YAY! I can’t wait to see how you incorporate the true meaning of Christmas by clicking on your links below. If you haven’t used Mister Linky before, here’s the low down (a.k.a rules).

My sister-in-law has a ‘Happy Birthday Jesus Party’ every year for our kids and their friends(6 yrs and under). She sends out Birthday invitations and gives little treat bags. We focus the party around Jesus and His Birth, telling the story of His Birth and having games and songs focused on Jesus and the TRUE meaning of Christmas. Of course there is cake and ice cream to top off the celebration!!! All the kids get to help Jesus blow out all His candles at the end!!! The kids just LOVE it; who doesn’t like a Birthday Party:)????
