How to Take the Personality Tests
The personality tests vary somewhat. Some are designed for you to take for your child, some are to be taken by your child. It all depends on the test and their age.
Parenting by Temperament
1. Children Aged 4-8 ~ In this test, the questions ask about your child’s typical behaviors, feelings, and likes and dislikes. You’ll select the answer that seems most true for your child.
2. Children Aged 9-12 ~ Like the above test, this is the Harkey-Jourgensen Middle Childhood Temperament Sorter, and you’ll select the answers that seem most true for your child.
3. For Teens and Adults ~ This is also a Harkey-Jourgensen Temperament Sorter. This time, you’ll select the answers most true for you, or your teen will answer questions most true for them.
4. 16 Personalities ~ Read about the 16 Personalities, the models and take the quick test to find out what you are, what each means and how it can change how you think about and interact with your kids and others you deal with.
5. Human Metrics ~ This free online test is based on Carl Jung’s and Isabel Briggs Myers’ typological approach to personality.
Personality by Color
6. The Color Code ~ “The Color Code is the most revolutionary and ACCURATE measurement of your personality available on the market today. Once you have learned the Color Code you will never see yourself or others the same again! The Color Code is your best bet for understanding how to make sense out of life’s relationship puzzles”.
