Play Group Style: Mother’s Day Out
Have up to 4 (depending on age) kids come over to your house for 2-3 hours on a rotating basis. Once a week, each mom takes a turn and therefore it becomes more like a “mommy’s day out”.
The benefits are that you have 3 Tuesdays (for example) without your child to run errands or get your hair done. The cons is that once every 4 weeks you have four children at your house.
With a large group of young children, try to have several activities planned to eliminate as much conflict as possible and to make the day more fun!
