It’s that time again – I’m feature my top ten crafts to make this week from last Tuesday’s linky party. I hope you find something fabulous that you’d like to make this week as well. I had to narrow it down from over 717 posts. Phew! These are just the 10 tutorials that I had time to highlight right now, you’ll see many more on this and the other Tip Junkie sister sites as well. So a huge thank you for those who took the time to link up their fabulous tutorials!
82. Restoration Hardware DIY Decoupage Map ~ This Restoration Hardware Decoupage Map is absolutely amazing! It is individual printed map sheets that are decoupaged in a puzzle fashion onto a canvas or piece of wood. Becca shows you how you can enlarge a jpeg image of a map and still keep the high resolution.
132. Strawberry Freezer Jam for the Beginner ~ I love fresh summer fruits and vegetables! This tutorial and recipe will show you how you can quickly (20 minutes from start to finish) make freezer strawberry jam. Seriously! Another perk about freezer jam is that the color remains vibrant and not dark like cooked jam.
241. Lemonade Stand ~ “Keep Calm and Drink Lemonade”, this lemonade stand is so stink in’ cute! Fabric bunting banner, ruffled table cloth, and two adorable children…it can’t get any better than this! Oh wait, it can, the printables are free downloads.
271. Two Easy Belt Tutorials ~ These two easy belts are ‘sew easy’ and super cute! One is a webbing & lace belt and the other is a jacquard ribbon belt. You can dress up any outfit by wearing it in your belt loops or over your favorite dress/cardigan.
304. Homemade Lavender Laundry Soap ~ Erika says that this soap “is not only just as good as my normal detergent, but it is a fraction of the price”, only 7 cents a load. A definite reason to try this recipe. You can also download the cute label to print and add to your container.
468. July 4th Flag Shirt ~ With all of the patriotic holidays coming up this flag shirt is perfect for Memorial Day picnics, Labor Day get-togethers, as well as July 4th fireworks. You can add/sew ribbon to a plain t-shirt or tank top to make this adorable flag. Ruffled striped grosgrain ribbon for the stripes and looped blue and white polka dot ribbon for the stars.
551. Printable Reading Log + Summer Reading List ~ This reading kit is an adorable way to encourage your children to read this summer! The kit contains printable reading log pages, bookmarks, book worm treat bag toppers and a list of children’s books that Rebecca’s family loves! Wouldn’t these kits be amazing for a book party this summer?
596. Reading Nook Curtains ~ Aren’t these ruffled reading nook curtains fabulous?! Perfect for a princess. All of the supplies used to make these curtains were already on hand. To hang the rod you can use brackets and bend the end to hang behind the wall above the nook. The length of previously purchased curtains was shortened and ruffles were add.
652. DIY Bridal Statement Necklace ~ I am in awe by this gorgeous statement piece necklace! There are over 650 hand-wired beads and 8 strands of antiqued bronze chain. The mixture of different sized pearls, vintage glass stones, rhinestone clusters, seed beads, champagne colored drops and faceted beads is breathtaking.
704. PB Knockoff Oversized Sand Dollar ~ Look at this brilliant oversized Pottery Barn knockoff sand dollar! You could purchase one from Pottery Barn for $99 or you could make your own for $6. Hmm, definitely make your own. All you need is a piece of wood cut into a circle, a sander & jigsaw, acrylic paint, sand and Elmer’s glue.
Wondering what was the most popular {or most clicked on} idea from the linky party? Well… it was Best Shower Cleaner Ever! Thanks Ladies. I just adore these ideas! Feel free to grab my I was featured on Tip Junkie blog button. You earned it! {{knuckle bumps}}
You can view all of the 717 ideas linked up HERE. If you have a blog, be sure to check in on Tuesday when you can link up your favorite or most recent handmade project like something you made, party you hosted, a recipe, or fun tip.
