You Will Need...
- Canvas
- Pencil
- Washers in various sizes
- Mod Podge (or other glue of choice)
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Using a pencil, lightly draw the outline of your monogram onto a canvas. I traced around a large chipboard letter, but you can also print a large monogram from your computer or draw it free hand.
Step 2
Glue your washers onto the canvas, starting along the inside edges of the monogram first. I found it easiest to spread a layer of glue with a paint brush and press the washers into the glue. You’ll want to work in small sections at a time.
Step 3
Once the outline of the monogram is done, fill in the center with washers. Place the larger washers first, then fill in with the smaller washers.
Step 4
Hang your canvas on a wall or lean it on a shelf. It bounces light beautifully when placed across from a window!
