Paper Garland: Simple Carrot Craft for Easter

How to make simple Easter crafts you can use to decorate for Easter Sunday, or anytime you’d like to display an easy paper carrot garland.

This homemade carrot paper garland is so easy to make that it would be a fun Easter crafts for kids.

You Will Need...

Step 1

Using a paper trimmer, cut an orange paper or card-stock {8.5 x 11} in a 1.5 inch strip.
Step 2

Next cut three strips of green paper or card-stock {8.5 x 11} in a .75 inch strip.
Step 3

Trim two of the green strips 5 inches long. Trim one of the green strips 5.5 inches long.
Step 4

Fold all 3 green strips in half, sandwich together.
Step 5

Using a small hole punch, punch a hole .5 inches in all 3 of the green strips. This is to make it easier to tread the twine through and hang as a garland later.
Step 6

Using scallop scissors {mine are from Fiskars}, cut down both sides of the orange strip.
Step 7

Fold the orange strip in half.
Step 8

Center the 3 green folded strips of paper in the middle and staple together.
Step 9

Pull the ends of the orange strips around, bringing them together. Staple to secure them into a carrot shape.
Step 10

Repeat steps 1-9. I made 6 carrots for my carrot paper garland, but you can add as many as you’d like. Next string together using yarn, twine, or ribbon and hang!
