Alandas submitted her recycled Graco baby swing by sewing a new seat and adding a toy caddy to the bottom:
While the swing was drying I used the old seat to make a pattern for my new seat. The old seat completely shredded in the dryer so my first idea to just make a cover went out the door fast. I sewed a cover, which was actually rather easy contrary to my fears! I also added a toy taggy, to hold L.T.’s toys and a little bag at the bottom for wipes, diapers, etc.
This was the exact baby swing I had when my older boys were babies. It’s delightful to see it so pretty and ready to sooth a new little one.
