It’s my favorite day of the week Teach Me Thursday where I feature tutorials so we can all learn something new. Last night I participated in a Craft Girls Night Out via Twitter (#GNO) and the topic of felting came up.
I love to use felt because it’s easy to sew, glue, and cut. Therefore the projects are usually quick and turn out fabulous. I hope you’ll be inspired to use felt in your next project.
Design: I’m all over this laptop cozy from Away to Me. Very chic.
Design: Enchantresses Three created a tutorial on how to make a simple felt flower. I really love adding flowers to hair, bags, and clothing. {{love it}}
Entertaining: I know Tip Junkie has OD’d featuring birthday banners, but I really like this felt version from Kristen.
Entertaining: How darling would these felt bracelets from Lisa be as a party favor.
For the Kids: Bitter Betty Blogs created a tutorial on how to make these darling felt pom flower & cashmere headband.
For The Kids: These felt hair clips from Amy are so easy to make and embellish to coordinate with every outfit.
For The Kids: I have a friend who is completely addicted to making felt food. {{love it!}} Cindy has created this fun tutorial on how to make a felt brown bag lunch.
You can also order tons of over-the-top felt food patterns from ETSY.
Gift Idea: Julie created this fun felt bon bon ring tutorial! She even gives you a packaging idea.
Organizing: Design Sponge featured a tutorial on how to make this door organizer.
Sewing: Check out Jessica’s Felt Ipod Cozy; create a cute little Ipod holder with felt and a few simple steps.
Thanks Ladies! If you don’t already have an “I was Featured” button, feel free to copy the code and wear it proudly on your blog. These are amazing! If any of you have taken the time to post a tutorial submit it and I’ll feature you!

I have a two month old baby girl & I was just thinking about how much fun it would be to have felt play food when she gets just a bit older. I will have to check out the shop… thank you!
