Today I’m featuring 36 Thanksgiving activities and kids crafts you can make with your kids for Thanksgiving day. Many of these Thanksgiving activities for kids are cheap to create and take almost no preparation. I hope you have a blast playing with your children on Thanksgiving.
These Thanksgiving for kids include activities like easy crafts, Thanksgiving games, paper plate activities, and even empty toile paper tube crafts. You’ll have a blast planning Thanksgiving Day for your kids!
Thanksgiving
1. Felt Food Thanksgiving Turkey Pattern – A really cool felt food pattern of a turkey dinner complete with carrots and detachable turkey legs.
2. Make Your Own Hat Station – Trace a jar lid on construction paper for the Pilgrim hat brim or turkey head. Use a glue stick to attach the circle to a black paper cup and to add construction paper details.
3. Turkey Spoon Craft – We used a wooden spoon, paint, brushes, glue, wiggly eyes and craft sticks.
4. {Tutorial} Thanksgiving Turkey Finger Puppets – Just a few scraps of felt and thread and lots of childhood imagination happily at work.

5. Thanksgiving Activity Place Mat – I printed everything but the pictures on the computer, guessing how much space i needed and leaving blank spaces to fill with stamping.

16. How to make a pipe cleaner pumpkin – Start off with a bundle of orange pipe cleaners, and a couple green pipe cleaners. The more you use, the more full your pumpkin will look.

17. Play-dough Turkey Craft – The turkey playdough play set. These would make great busy hands for the 3-5 year old crowd…especially handy during food preparation time on the big day
18. How to make autumn leaves – This is a fun painting craft you can do with the kids and get your home all decked out in autumn foliage.
19. Fall Leave Coasters – They are made from foam sheets, colored duct tape, pressed leaves, and some clear contact paper.
20. Painting Pine cones – Let the kids use their creativity to paint pine cones. You can glitter them afterward to add a little sparkle, hot glue ribbon to turn them into an ornament, or use as a place card for the Thanksgiving table.

25. Model Magic Turkey – This was a simple, fast and fun craft for my 5 year old. She was able to complete most of this craft herself.

32. Toilet Paper/Paper Towel Roll Turkeys – I started off by cutting a paper towel roll into thirds. You could just use a toilet paper roll if you like.

34. Turkey Chair Cover Craft – Make these simple chair covers for Thanksgiving, then customize them for any celebration at home or school.

36 Kids Craft: Table Top Turkeys – For these little gobble-gobble pals I used just 1 bottle of Folkart paint, fall printed papers and some Mod Podge.
