We are continuing our How to Blog series with a fun little quiz, WordPress versus Blogger. What type of blogging platform you use really depends on what kind of blog you have, where you want it to go, and overcoming the fear of having a WordPress Blog. Today we’re going to help you discover if your dream blog should use Blogger.com or WordPress.org (self-hosted).

What kind of blog do you have? Have you considered a WordPress Blog? What has stopped you from getting a WordPress Blog?

I would say unless one is blogging on ones own domain, the time spent might be a waste. The thing is when one is blogging on blogger or wordpress.com, one is actually developing content for ANOTHER person. There is no ownership. One cannot sell it, if one choses to do so.
With the cost of domain and hosting being so cheap, I don’t like the idea of using free blogs at all.
If there are specific things that you are nervous about WordPress please let me know. Would love to help you and others get past those things. If I don’t address them on this series I would like to address them on my site!
