Hi! My name is Kim Byers and Im the Owner and Creative Director of The Celebration Shoppe. Today I’m featuring my Top 10 Peppermint Dessert recipes plus free recipe card and gift tags! I just love a freebie, don’t you?
Im just thrilled to be a guest blogger for Laurie today. When I came on the scene in 2008 she was one of my “must reads.” So when she asked if I was interested in sharing my top 10 for the holiday season, it was a resounding yes and I knew immediately what my topic would be.
This holiday season we created two new collections, BELIEVE and Mod Candy Cane. Since Ill personally be using Mod Candy Cane for my Christmas cookie decorating party with the kiddos this year I researched well beyond the few desserts we created for the photo shoot styling. Here are a few of my absolute favorites:
Dessert Recipes
#1. Peppermint Ice Cream BonBons, Sunset magazine; #2. Peppermint Fudge Paris-Brest, Better Homes and Gardens, slide 16
#3. Peppermint Pinwheel Cookies, Southern Living, slide five; #4. Little Peppermint No-Bake Cakes, Better Homes and Gardens, slide eight; #5. Candy Cane Marshmallows, Martha Stewart (dairy-free since I have a little one with severe food allergies!)
#6. Peppermint House, Martha Stewart, slide six; #7. No-bake Peppermint Place, Martha Stewart, slide eight (fabulous for kid cookie decorating parties; we’ll be making these at mine); #8. Christmas Candy Carolers, Martha Stewart, slide fifteen (you can’t have a house without some people, especially these cuties!)
