How to make an omelet for breakfast is not only easy, but can be healthy too! They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. {giggle} Some of the delicious omelettes include recipes like denver, spanish, spinach, egg white, stackable and omelet bites.
How to make the perfect omelette is easier than you’d think. Once you’ve gotten the hang of it, you’ll realize it’s really simple as 1-2-3! The first thing you need to do to make an omelette is to beat your eggs. I’ve found that the best way to do this is in a glass bowl. Add your seasoning like salt and pepper to the beaten eggs and blend. Then, heat butter (yes, butter) in a non-stick skillet over medium high heat until melted. DO NOT use high heat! Then, pour the egg mixture (or you can use liquid egg) onto the skillet in the center of the pan. Pour the egg mixture into the hot pan, then let the eggs set a little along the edges — it will only take a few seconds. Using a spatula, pull the eggs in from the edges toward the center, allowing the liquid eggs to flow underneath the set ones (you might find that tilting the pan works wonders) to continue cooking. Once the eggs are set on the outside but still soft on the inside, you can add the toppings like grated cheese. Fold one side of the omelet in with your spatula. Remember, the sky is the limit with omelet fillings! We personally love diced ham. Note: some people swear by using a cast iron pan, but I love my non-stick one!
