National Egg Nog Day
What is National Egg Nog Day? Well, National Egg Nog Day is a day set aside to enjoy egg nog. It’s no surprise that the holiday falls on the day before Christmas since egg nog or “egg milk punch” is traditionally enjoyed on Christmas day! Eggnog is a sweetened dairy-based drink that is made with milk and cream, sugar, whipped eggs and yummy spices. The thick texture of egg nog turns some people off of the drink, but we think it’s delicious.
The origins of egg nog are believed to date back to England or Europe.
National Egg Nog Day is celebrated on December 24th of each year.
We can’t think of a better day than today to ENJOY SOME EGG NOG! Here are some ways we came up with to celebrate the day. Be sure to check out the other fun and wacky December holidays you can celebrate with us!
