My name is Mary. I’m wife to Jason and mom to Clark (2.5) and Kent (coming May 27, 2010). If you haven’t guessed, we kind of like Superman around here! We live in the midwest in the Chicago suburbs and love it. I am first and foremost a SAHM, but about a year ago I won a spot to be a digital scrapbooking designer at ScrapMatters. My store is called Plum Dumpling Designs. I have been digital scrapbooking for almost 2 years and designing for 1. It’s a fantastic hobby with little clutter and huge payoff! When I am not digi-scrapping, I love to read, organize, shop and hang out with family.

Testimonial: How one of our customers uses our product in creative ways.
Brenda and her mom started this business to bring quality Turkish products to those living in the United States. Brenda lives in Turkey and her mom in Florida. They sell homemade natural olive oil soaps and beautiful absorbent traditional Turkish towels.
Brenda has a passion for these beautiful textiles and handmade products that have been used for centuries and are made in Turkey. An east meets west story in its own right! After 18 years of living in this land Brenda is now able to meet with the producers and choose the best quality product for reasonable prices. Her towels, soaps and ornaments are then shipped to her mom who lives in Florida who is now known as the “towel lady” at the local night market held in the town square.
What’s In It For You?: Turkish towels are great for the pool, beach, travel, bath, decoration, table cloth, or shawl. They dry quickly, very absorbent, and are easy to pack! Our hand-made soaps are made from an olive-oil base, with various natural ingredients added. They are made by hand in Istanbul, using methods used for generations. Each of the different varieties have different benefits and characteristics depending on the composition.
- The towels can also be worn in a variety of ways.
- Hand-made with the highest quality of ingredients.

Fun Facts About Soft Line Designs Towels:
- For centuries these towels have been woven with 100% cotton on hand-operated looms.
- They are made with longer threads which make them more absorbent and dry quickly after use.
- The towels are from the villages where these towels have been traditionally made, in the province of Denizli, Turkey.
- Some of the towels are also woven with other natural fibers, such as bamboo, which make the towel feel softer.
- Natural cotton feels a bit stiff and rough before it is washed. For best results, you should soak the towel for six hours and then wash in warm water before use. This loosens up the cotton fibers, making them softer and more absorbent. Do not use fabric softener. Then you can line dry them or tumble dry on low heat. You will find that your towels gets softer the more you use and wash them.
