8 Trunk or Treat Ideas featuring ANIMAL Themes

Every year my church hosts a trunk or treat and I love seeing all the trunk or treat car decorations.  It is typically a night to decorate your car for Halloween and go trick or treating from car to car instead of door to door.  The kids love it and it’s a fun way to see all our friends in one place.

If you’re attending a trunk and treat this year I’ve hooked you up with some over-the-top car & trunk decorations complete with Halloween pictures for you to be inspired from.

1.  Zoo Decorated Trunk ~ Raid your children’s stuffed animals to decorate a zoo.  Spray painted wood dowels work great for the bars.

2.  Petting Zoo ~ If you have lots of caged animals at home, load them up in your vehicle and you can have an instant petting zoo.  A fun interactive theme because we all know kids love to touch animals!

3.  Noah’s Ark ~ This is such a fun and creative idea!  Gather up your kids’ stuffed animals and place in the trunk of your car.  You can even dress up as Noah.
