Trunk or treat is an easy way of getting a new twist on a Halloween party if you don’t want to take your kids’ door-to-door trick or treating and making it a bit safer. With a little planning, you’ll be ready to terrify an audience of kids. Here are a few spooky ideas to plan a scary trunk or treat Halloween party that ghouls and ghosts will not forget.

Attending a trunk or treat event for a Halloween party? Here are a few ideas to make it a little scarier.
1. Double Double, Toil and Trouble Trunk or Treat ~ Decorate your car for trunk or treating with this spooky witch theme featuring a book page banner, skulls, headstones, and specimen jars.

Every year my church hosts a trunk or treat and I love seeing all the Halloween car decorations. It is typically a night to decorate your car for Halloween and go trick or treating from car to car instead of door to door. The kids love it and it’s a fun way to see all our friends in one place.
4. Trunk or Treat Ghosts ~ Decorate your car with spooky ghosts and goblins using sheets and Christmas lights.
5. Cemetary Trunk or Treat ~ A creepy cemetery with skeletons coming out of their tombs.
6. Skeleton Trunk Decorating Ideas ~ Hanging skeletons, skeleton jack-o-lanterns, and even luminaries.
