Did you know that just about every day of the year has been designated as a “holiday”? Celebrating the wacky and fun day can bring tons of enjoyment. What is Fortune Cookie Day? Well, as far as we can tell, it’s the day to have our dreams come true. Just ask your fortune cookie! {bawahh!} If you love getting your fortune wrapped up in a lightly crunchy cookie, then today is your day! Did you know that there is dispute over who invented the fortune cookie? Common sources say that the fortune cookies were made by the San Francisco bakery, Benkyodo. However, David Jung of Los Angeles says he invented the cookie in 1918. Fortune Cookie Day falls on September 13th of every year. We love seeing if our fortune with come true, so this September Holidays is enjoyed by us!
