If  you’re looking for an easy way to capture the grade number that your kiddo is going into this new school year, here are some darling speech bubbles that they can hold to make their fist day of school picture a little more memorable.

How to Make: 

For the best results, print these First Day of School speech bubble onto matte photo paper, although any paper will do. {wink} Next, cut out the pieces and tape {or glue} onto a wood dowel or kabob skewer, optional.

Turns out not everyone in the family is looking forward to summer ending and going back to school.   Personally, I couldn’t be more excited.  {snicker}

2.  Back to School ~ Hat Photo Props

For a little more fun and a nontraditional way to capture the grade number your child is going into this new school year, here are several hat photo props for girls and boys. All the photo props are available for Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade. So yep, that includes preschool, elementary School, Middle School {or Jr. High}, as well as High School.  There are also blanks ~ so you can write in actually anything that you’d like!  Sky’s the limit on what you can use these fun photo props for.

3.  Activities for the First Day of School ~ Watches!

It’s Time for… Eighth Grade!  These paper watches not only make a fun photo prop for back to school, but they are also something that they can wear throughout their first day of school, if they want.  Keep reading below for several fun suggestions on how to use these paper watches as an activity and to meet new friends.

How to Make: 

For the best results, print these First Day of School printable watch onto matte photo paper, although any paper will do.  Next, cut out the corresponding grade number and tape to fasten the paper watch onto their wrist.

For girls,  you can hole punch both sides and attach it together using ribbon, like the image above.  {too cute}  And yes their watch is extra girly and has jewels which match the Crown photo props, of course.  {snicker}

A fun Back to School activity is to invite friends over for a “time for school” watch decorating party.  It’s a fun way to get your friends involved and look forward to seeing each other again at school. Be sure to give each of your guests extra watches to take home.  This way everyone can take watches to school and pass out to new friends that they meet that day.  It would make for an easy ice-breaker and an excuse to meet new friends in their class.
