POLISH FAUCETS WITH SHAVING CREAM
Spray a little shaving cream on your bathroom faucets and then wipe it off with a damp cloth for a shiny finish!
BABY OIL FOR THE SHINE
You can also use a few drops of baby oil on a microfiber towel to polish your bathroom faucets for an incredible shine!
NATURALLY, SCRUB TUB AND SINK WITH SALT AND GRAPEFRUIT
Cut a grapefruit in half and then sprinkle with salt to use as a natural soap scum remover for your sink and bathtub. It’s natural, smells great, and chemical-free!
WIPE DOWN SHOWER DOORS WITH DRYER SHEETS TO REMOVE SOAP SCUM
Dryer sheets rubbed on glass shower doors will remove soap scum. Totally brilliant, right?
REMOVE SOAP SCUM WITH COOKING SPRAY
You can also remove soap scum and lime deposits on shower doors and walls with cooking spray! Crazy, right? Spray shower doors and walls and then let sit for 10 minutes. Rinse with soapy water, making sure to clean the floor well so that you don’t slip and fall!
CLEAN YOUR SHOWERHEAD WITH VINEGAR
Have you ever looked up and noticed that your shower head needed a serious cleaning but didn’t know quite how? Just add 1 cup of vinegar and 1 cup of water to a gallon-sized Ziploc bag, and then place the bag over your shower head, making sure that the head is submerged in the solution. You can secure the bag on the showerhead with a rubber band or string and then let sit for about an hour. After you remove the bag, run hot water through the showerhead.
DEFOG YOUR MIRROR WITH SHAVING CREAM
If your mirror fogging up is a problem, give this hack a try! Spread shaving cream onto your bathroom mirror with a soft, dry, cloth. Next, wipe the shaving cream off with a damp cloth. Polish streaks with a microfiber cloth and repeat each week to keep the mirror fog-free.
CLEAN YOUR MIRROR WITH BLACK TEA
The tannic acid in black tea works really well for cleaning mirrors, so if you have any tea bags lying around, brew a cup and then use it to clean your mirror!
CLEAN YOUR TOILET BOWL WITH ALKA-SELTZER
Alka-Seltzer will clean your toilet without much effort! Just drop a tablet or two in the bowl and allow to sit for about 20 minutes. Clean with a toilet brush and voila, clean without a lot of elbow grease.
CLEAN YOUR TOILET NATURALLY WITH BAKING SODA AND VINEGAR
Almost everyone has baking soda and vinegar in their cupboards and they work wonders together as a cleaning agent for your toilet. Dump 1/2 cup baking soda and 1 cup of vinegar in your toilet and let sit for 30 minutes. Then, scrub the toilet with your toilet brush before flushing for a super clean toilet!
