It’s time to get organized for October! Can you believe October is already here? Tip Junkie is here help you stay on top of your game this fall as Your Personal Assistant. Take a day and really plan and organize your schedule. Here are some of the things to do!

Moments That Matter ~ Daily Tips

1. Let’s get clicky with my Moments that Matter Photo Challenge where you can capture moments that matter from your camera phone. For more details, click here!  I have found it’s a great way to use the camera on my phone as a grateful journal while I’m *trying* to put some balance into my crazy life.

2.  Be sure to grab the October Calendars I’ve made ya:

Get Organize!

3. Let’s start the month off right and make a list of the things that are causing you added stress. Make a list of the big ones as well as the little ones. Is something in the house that’s broken, is there an insurance issue you need to take care of, do you need an extra trash can upstairs to help keep things tidy?

4.  Once you’ve thought it out and made your list, next plan a day this week as your ongoing problem day and finally resolve those issues that need to be resolved. You’ll be glad that you did!

5.  Schedule for book club, girls night out, BUNCO, and other rotating activities. Make sure you have child care, your food assignment, etc. Here’s how to start a dinner club or enjoy a dinner party.

6. If you are doing food storage, time to check the schedule and buy next on the list. Don’t forget to put some cash in there as well.
7. Write one grandparent a letter, artwork, or card.  Here are some simple grandparent gift ideas if you want to get a little fancy for Grandma or Grandma.
8. Plan Mommy/Son or Daddy/Daughter dates.  These 14 Kids Crafts to Make with Pine Cones ideas would make a great date idea.  Take a walk to talk and gather pine cones and then craft together!
9. Plan a date night with your man; arrange the babysitter in advance.
10.  Plan a Girl’s Only Weekend or some well deserved pampering with your besties to celebrate surviving the summer. {Be sure to invite me!}

11. If you’re wanting to be more organized then print off the Executive Homemaker binder where you can keep track of everything in one place as well as printable worksheets to help keep you organized and on task. 13. Fall can be such a busy time of the year. As you organize yourself this month, look ahead to the end of the year. This way you can stay ahead of the game and things won’t sneak by.

15. It’s time to start planning for Christmas! If your family draws names for Christmas, September is a good time to do it. This way you know who to buy for.

A Few To Do’s:

  • Finalize your plans on what your kiddos want to be for Halloween. October goes by quick!  Also pick out a couple new Halloween home decor items you want to make to spruce up your abode.
  • Finalize your Thanksgiving plans.
  • Start making plans for Christmas. Not only gifts but where you’re going to stay, whose family to visit, travel arrangements, etc.
